Of Shadow and Death

After partly avenging her mother's death, Evette Star, the illegitimate daughter of an elven king, sets off on a warpath to find the adversary of her people.

The human King in the West, Dracul Dregoth, has locked himself away in a stone tower for reasons unbeknownst to those who fear him. His reign has blanketed the land in darkness, and while Evette knows little about the man, she intends to make him pay for the deeds done by those who have obeyed his relayed orders. She will bring him to justice, even if it means uncovering hidden secrets that will force her to question if all of her efforts were really worth the trouble. She will have to learn the hard way that self-love and self-acceptance are more important than the love of others. Werewolves, dragons, and undead spirits may keep her from reaching her destination on time, but her need for fiery vengeance will be sated.
