That was why no one noticed his change of character when he met the joyful Periwinkle, the only female member in the Company. He went out of his way to make her smile and laugh, and no one found that out of the ordinary since, well, it was Bofur. After your husband's death you knew you'd never fall in love again until a certain Hobbit came into your life.
