"Merlin!" a voice rang out into the distance.

"Merlin!" it repeated again, the distressed tone only increasing each time.

Arthur had repeated his manservant's name several times now and so far, he'd gotten no results. Safe to say, he was worrying his princely socks off. He firmly shook Merlin's shoulder, begging for him to wake up on the inside, but on the outside, he was just shouting his name.

"Merlin!" he yelled for the tenth time, the man who lay in front of him not responding.

'Well, of course he wouldn't,' the back of Arthur's mind told him. 'He's fallen off a cliff for God's sake.'

OR

Merlin falls off a cliff and Arthur learns that it's not the first time this has happened. So, Merlin tells Arthur a tale from when he was a boy.

Cadagorien And Its Lost Prince (Prince Merlin AU)

22 parts Complete Mature

My name is Prince Merlin Aragon Ambrosius, and I hate being a prince, so much that I ran away from home, to live in Camelot, a place where my kind are hated. I disguise myself as a mere peasant and move in with my beloved uncle, Gaius, the court physician. Hiding my secret, of my heritage and my gifts has never been more difficult, especially when I have to hide it from a clotpole of a Prince - Arthur. I have to save him everyday from all kinds of situations, but when I finally reveal my secret, whilst saving him, what will happen? Especially when my own knights from Cadagorien practically appear on my doorstep. It is time to return home, but what will I succeed in saving my people? Or will I fall? ((Okay I have decided that there will be a bit of Merthur slipped in here and there, so if you don't like it, don't read it.))
