Kanna, granddaughter of Avatar Aang and Master Katara.
Iroh II, grandson of Fire Lord Zuko, son of Fire Lady Izumi.

Kanna is a 23-year-old water and airbender. She has no explanation as to why or even how she is a dual bender. All she knows is that it has caused her trouble in the past and put a target on her back. She's always stayed safe in the Southern Water Tribe, so how will she fare in the big city when she's sent in to help her uncle, Tenzin, deal with Amon and protect Avatar Korra whilst also overcoming her own traumatising past? She won't be able to do it without her childhood friend/lover General Iroh II. 

DISCLAIMER: I don't own anything ATLA or LoK, I own Kanna and other characters. The story doesn't really include that much of the Legend of Korra plot, it more focuses on Kanna and Iroh growing up and her facing her trauma! Though Xia was close friends with Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee, she volunteered to accompany Zuko and Iroh on their hunt to find the Avatar. Calm and patient Xia became Zuko's new sparring partner, and Iroh's favorite Pai Sho challenger. "How can you be drinking tea at a time like this?!" Zuko demanded. I looked at him as if surprised by his stupidity, "because I do not particularly like cold tea." A laugh followed my statement and we both turned to Iroh, "you see, Prince Zuko. Xia knows that there are times to march forward, but there are also times to take a step back." "What does that even mean?" Zuko asked furiously. "It means that I take time to think," I replied gently. "Now, why don't we go and continue your quest for the Avatar?" *I update by book. So the first thirteen chapters are book one. Updates are very slow, but over ten chapters at a time.

In desperate need to protect both water tribes, yue is already engaged but the Chiefs daughter of the southern water tribe is forced to marry the eldest and only son of the fire nation for an alliance between the two, for the fire nation to stay away from the water tribe. Katara hates it there, the heat, the red, the gold, especially the gold, it reminded her of the princes eyes, a man she hates she's forced to marry. But what if he is just as miserable as she is? He just wanted to be home. He finally got it but is continued to be terrorized in his own palace.
