"You know you want me, Tilly," he teases from across the room. I roll my eyes, "Uh, yeah, no. Not every girl falls prey to you, y'know. You aren't THAT good-looking."
Chris takes a giant step forward, crossing the classroom in four easy strides. He stands just in front of me. "You don't want me now?" he asks. I blush, but still I shake my head. I won't give him the satisfaction of seeing me crack.
Suddenly, Chris leans down, his lips around my ear as he nibbles on it. My knees go weak--damn, he knows my weak spot.
Chris pulls back after a second. "How...about...now?" he purrs sexily. I cross my arms, using a lot of self control, and reply, "Not in the slightest." He laughs, tossing his head back. When he turns to walk out the door he smacks my ass, winking as he leaves. "See you, Tilly-poo!" he calls. When Chris finally disappears, I let myself smile.
***
Natalie Kiphart. She's short, curvy, and gorgeous. She isn't freaky smart, but she's got a good head on her shoulders. She plays flute and writes songs in her free time. Normal.
Christopher Engles. He's tall, tan, and the sexiest guy in the entire freaking world. He's got only a bit of brains, seeing as most of his focus is in sports. But his love for coffee drives him into a girl he otherwise wouldn't ever have met.
Chris and Nat don't hit it off well at all--he dumped coffee all down her shirt.
Now, Chris has to make it up to Natalie. He spends his time doing things for her, everything from tutoring to helping her organize that precious marble collection of hers. Slowly, as they spend time together, he finds himself wishing that she'd let him help her with a little something else.
"I don't believe it." a low inhumane voice whispered. I have to look up to meet his gaze. Is he a new bully? Haven't seen him before.
"What is your name?" He's against the light but his eyes were like sapphires glowing in the night. Curious.
"Your name." I felt some weird tone emanating from his voice. Too demanding... too powerful.
"Uh..." my name? No one's interested with my name, except for the cafe's barista.
"Don't make me repeat. State your name!"
"Nathalia Nicolai." I spilled flabbergasted by his yelling. For once, i saw... amusement then it quickly changed back to disgust.
"I, Alpha Chase Ashton Michael, rejects you Nathalia Nicolai as my mate and Luna of Bloodridge pack."
"Huh?" Should i say 'nice to meet you'?
"Now, repeat after me. I, Nathalia Nicolai, accepts your rejection, as your mate and luna of Bloodridge pack." He nod at me. Ok? i repeat the whole verse.
"Good." He remarked letting go of me and exiting.
"Wow." My only comment. That's really a new way to introduce yourself and rejecting people. I took a sip of my drink.
"But that's really uselss." I smiled leaving the room.
If you are born missing something, will you ever stop looking for that something? Try to fill what is gone? Won't you continue on living?
