Oni. The myths and legends were supposed to be just that. Merely myths and legends.
    As the eldest son, Tanjiro Kamado had a sworn duty. He vowed to his late father that he'd take care of his mom and younger siblings. So he did just that, doing the best he could to keep them happy and out of harm's way.
    Like any other day, he went to go sell coal in the town resting at the mountain's foot. This would be the day his promise would save him from his family's fate. 
    Their massacre.
     But promises weren't enough to spare him from the journey he and his traumatized sister are forced to go on.
     Because now they're the same as the murderers.
    Hiding. Waiting. Hunting. Slaying.
     After-all, every myth is based on an alternate reality.

But when you and Tanjiro had made it back home, your entire family was found dead, brutally murdered by none other than Muzan Kibutsuji himself. Fortunately, your younger sister Nezuko was still alive, but was turned into one of the man-eating demons. You and Tanjiro set on a journey to find Muzan Kibutsuji, in hopes of also finding a cure for Nezuko. 𝐃𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐉𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐘, you make new friends, meet new people, and fight demons. In the world of demon slayer, the main character, a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado was always the beacon of hope for those around him. His warm smile and presence that always gravitates a sense of love and compassion seemingly allowing him to change the lives of everyone for the better. Furthermore, his righteous goal of reverting his little sister back to human as well as defeating the dreaded demon king Muzan and ridding the world of the curse that is the progenitor of all demons and avenging his fallen family. However what if the story didn't revolve like this? What if Tanjiro was unable to traverse the mountain on that fateful day due to a sickness or broken leg and his little sister Nezuko was the one to do so instead? What if Tanjiro was taken by the demons and turned into one? Would he remain good? Or would he join the side of the demons and fight against humanity? Let's find out. I do not own Demon Slayer or any of the characters.

Sakura Hirai is a 20 year old girl who lives down the mountain from the Kamado family where she has looked after their children for years after the Father of the Kamado family, Tanjuro fell ill. Sakura's responsibilities consisted of looking after the younger children and helping the older children, Tanjiro and Nezuko descend the mountain day after day to go work in the village. As the village's doctor, Sakura was always busy and is very skilled in care. After a fateful night where Sakura and Tanjiro didn't return to the family's cabin, Tanjiro, the eldest son of the Kamado family, comes home to find his entire family slaughtered. Tanjiro, in a complete panic checks on the oldest sister first, Nezuko, who is still warm and rushes her down the mountain to see Sakura who seems calm about the whole situation. After checking Nezuko's injuries, the three return to the household where Sakura and Tanjiro bury the family's corpses before heading off. But Nezuko is not herself anymore as she starts to turn into a bloodthirsty rampaging demon on the back of her loving brother and threatens to attack, Sakura turns to the only thing she knows best, protecting those she holds close.
