   To everyone at Meridian High School, Ash Ketchum is an ordinary fourteen-year-old. But Ash Ketchum is anything but ordinary-in fact, he's electric.

   When Ash's best friends, Clement Citron and cheerleader Serena Yvonne, make an accidental discovery, the three of them learn that there are other kids with similar powers-and that someone, or something, is hunting them. 

   After his mother is kidnapped, Ash will have to rely on his wits, unique power, and his friends to fight the hunters, find his mother, and save the others.

A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does.
