Tom said nothing as he looked down at the Gryffindor girl with steel grey eyes. 

"Good day, Mr. Riddle." With that she snapped the worn out green book shut and promptly got up and left. For once Tom was speechless. Once the empty classroom's door closed with a click,  he slammed his fist down on the empty dark wooden table.
