Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown, best friends since infancy, envision seeing the world together, after attending their dream college, NYU, of course.

Even being inseparable, the two are polar opposites. Finn is a bit of a nerd, a boy who volunteers at nursing homes and plays the clarinet, not to mention his perfect grades. Millie is a complete party animal, with a boyfriend who is not the best for her.

As the duo take on their senior year of high school, they learn that not everything goes the way you plan them to, and that obstacles are at every turn.

But Finn has been hiding something from Millie for years: the fact that he's in love with her. What happens when he is forced to admit his feelings for the girl he knows he can't have?
