They were all born for a reason. The Blue Night might have been the greatest tragedy to befall in the Knights of the True Cross and all the churches and temples, but to Minamoto Mayaka, the day her mother died was her greatest tragedy. Having to grow up in a loveless home with her father, Mayaka's rebellious acts finds the interest of the Knights of the True Cross' Director, Mephisto Pheles, and makes her into something she never thought she could be in her unwanted career as an Exorcist.
As she continues to do errands for the King of Time, Mayaka soon finds her occupation as an Exorcist to be fun. Especially when she finds out that everything she's been doing is part of a bigger game that the Demon has been playing. One that might concern the end of the world and the Nephlim sons of Satan.

Pregnant. A word she had longed to hear, yet feared the most. Would he accept it? Or would he push her away again, just like before? The door creaked open. Her heart pounded. Sharad's sharp gaze met hers. "What are you hiding?" Her breath hitched. She wasn't ready for this. Not yet.
