He's well respected, and amazing at his job. That said, greatness is expected of Salem as well. Of course that isn't a problem, Salem will always be loyal to the law. He was raised by it, and upholding it is his future career aspiration. He thinks he has his life figured out. The fact that his ex-boyfriend comes from a notorious crime family, and has been arrested several times by Jack's own department, doesn't matter. Salem's passed that, he's over Atlas Marino and he always will be. He will ignore that scratch in his record, and cover it up with his success. Salem is offered a job to help with an investigation that could benefit his future career astronomically. He thinks it's a win-win situation, he gets the recognition he desires, and the streets will be that much safer. It's all black and white to him, easy to understand. He likes the order, and he craves the accomplishment of defeating bad with good. It's all black and white. Until he gets caught in the grey. A Jsab story that is an alternate universe of an existing world of mine, also based off of "The Pink Corruption" YouTube series (LucasTheDubber) in a sense (it is not set in that realm however) It is written by me, Kiwi-Veemo, and Inking 5 in said order. Long ago, heroes defended the world. One of those heroes was the blue square everyone is familiar with. However, years have passed, and since then, they have retired now that the villains have not shown up within the years. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. When corruption starts up again, and heroes are needed, who will come to the rescue? The answer lies in a group of shapes with nothing in common, all with different backgrounds. Can they work together just this once to defeat the evil once more? ----- Side note: This story was made in 2019 so that's why it looks kinda bad. I was mostly waiting on others for their parts, and things got busy with me so writing the boss chapters also took a long time. Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. But can you continue to love them after you find out the truth ? Find out if Joshua can still love Elijah after all that Elijah brought into Joshua's life. I don't know if the story is as interesting as it sounds, but it is good. Please do give it a read.
