Thomas Barrows has just been named head butler at Downton Abbey. He has long forgotten his unfortunate past including suicidal attempts, fighting and unforgiving mistakes, but soon his joyous spree will come to an abrupt end as Mr. Barrows takes an unwanted stroll down memory lane. 
A certain footman has returned to Downton, leaving Thomas confused, angry and weary. His past is taking him on a haunting roller coaster ride filled with a sprinkle of love, a dash of mystery, and a whole fuck ton of self-loathing.
