A star map containing coordinates of deposits of a mystical material that can act as the key to weaponising dark matter has been discovered. The Galactic Union, the government ruling most of the galaxy quickly springs into action in a desperate attempt to prevent the star map from falling into the hands of a militaristic rebel group that soughts to bring back an evil empire. They quickly gain an inital lead, but success is unpredictable and the rebels have many things unknown to them. Meanwhile on another planet, a suspicious fungal plague is spreading, with clues pointing to deliberate sabotage. Will the galaxy survive this testing time, or will it fall to a resurrected empire?

The Karadolex Galaxy is a vast, populated expanse featuring numerous livable worlds, diverse species, and various factions, each with its own territory. Ships travel through interdimensional rifts, enabling faster-than-light travel. The story picks up ten years after a long, devastating war between humans, the Seven Worlds of Rhyus, and the Vorcons of the Vorcon Empire. This war encompassed many worlds and resulted in billions of deaths. The Vorcon Empire had been waging war and conquering nearby worlds for years. As the Vorcon threat grew, factions across the Karadolex galaxy pleaded for help from the Seven Worlds of Rhyus. Responding to the crisis, the Seven Worlds deployed their military force, the Rhyus Defense Fleet (RDF), leading to a protracted 20-year conflict that ultimately ended in a peace treaty. Garen Rivers, a general for the RDF, hailed as a hero for his strategy and tactics during the war, commanded the RDF Battle Cruiser, The Riftkin. He protested the peace treaty, believing the Vorcons would rebuild and wage war again. The newly appointed Council of Seven, determined to end the war, dismissed Garen's concerns. Publicly ridiculed, he suddenly found himself alone. Many did not want to associate with him due to his public stance, even though many agreed with him. Standing alone and stripped of his command, Garen resigned and retreated to the remote world of Chiex to live a simple life in the wilderness near a small Camerian settlement. Garen's peace is shattered when his old rival, Vorcon Caul Malocktus, threatens the Camerian settlement. Forced to flee, Garen returns to Rhyus, the capital of the Seven Worlds, where his mentor requests his leadership on a mission. Garen must take a stealth ship into Vorcon territory to assess the threat posed by a new Vorcon weapon. Reuniting with old friends and facing former enemies, Garen discovers that much has changed. He learns that there are more threats to the Seven Worlds than just the Vorcon Empire.

The Fringe Wars

122 parts Complete

War looms on the horizon... After the colonization of Mars and Europa, it took us fewer than five generations to reach beyond our solar system and discover new planets capable of supporting human life. Too far away to be governed under Earth law, the Collective was formed. Several hundred years later, the Collective has expanded to a system of six worlds. Power struggles and unequal rights have made interplanetary war all but inevitable. With rebellions arising across the Collective, three captains launch near-suicidal missions to free the oppressed fringe and reset equality across the stars. A galactic war is coming, and only an arthritic mail runner and a space pirate can stop it.
