Izuku Midoriya formerly izuku yagi had a good life up until he was diagnosed quirkless. He was neglected and beaten by his own (all might and magnetic) family and (1A) friends. Over the years izuku learn how to defend himself in private, read comics from before quirks were around and learning about heroes quirks. One day, while izuku is running away from his tormentors, he runs into the forest to lose them. After he does he realizes he's lost and then he sees a meteor coming towards him. Now with these new abilities he will become the next number one hero and symbol of hope.

Kacchan thinks that izuku is useless. Many probably think so too. Deku doesn't have a quirk but his mother paid the doctors not to write him down as quirkless. If you are quirkless, you will not only be treated very badly, but in some cases also hunted. Because of the blood. People with quirks have problems getting a blood donation. Someone with an animal quirk cannot donate or get any blood from another animal quirk that is not the same species or another quirk .
