Perseus, prince of Septuron, has been captured. By who, you might ask? By Luke, Crown Prince of Pendrane. He suffers disgrace and dishonor at the hands of his enemies, before finally being sold as a slave. But despite all of this, he won't break. He won't give his enemies the satisfaction of breaking his spirit. He will fight! He will fight for his people, and for his kingdom.

Annabeth, Princess of Pendrane, doesn't know what to think. She has always known where her loyalties lay. That was, until she saw the despicable acts of her brother. She knows she should hate the barbarian prince, the handsome Percy, but she slowly starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, she might love him. Hers was the kingdom that destroyed his, that took his pride and crushed it. She knows he hates her and has every right to, but in the most hidden part of her heart, she dares to dream that one day he could love her the way she does him.

Discontinued - Sorry, loves. Annabeth Chase grew up chasing the dream that she would be happy forever, without a single issue or argument or broken heart. She had her mother, her best friend Percy, her black puppy named Mrs O'Leary... She thought life was complete, perfect. Percy Jackson grew up chasing Annabeth. Ever since they were kids, he wanted to be the one boy to make her smile. Most times, he was. He was happy, with his best friend, and his mom. But he lied. Annabeth didn't know what he felt, and he wouldn't tell her. The first time Annabeth had her heart broken, she went to the first boy to make her smile. Percy was the only one who still made her smile for a few days. They made a secret pact, one they both thought was silly, in later years... If neither of them were married by the time they were twenty-five, they would marry each other. *** On Percy's 25th birthday, Annabeth found her fiance cheating, a week before the wedding. Until that day, when she curled up with Percy, a beer in her hands, she forgot about the pact. She forgot about the silly pact that made her smile and laugh at herself for making it. Until that day, she didn't realize why she made it, and she didn't realize why Percy had bothered to agree... When they both realize the truth, will the run to each other's arms like Percy once dreamed, or will the girl who hated Annabeth with a vengeance get in the way? (_Warning: There will be mature scenes in this book. Read at your own risk. Like, seriously, there is gonna be a lot of serious smut in here, and it's probably gonna be shitty, but I hope you enjoy it if u can, anyways_)

Annabeth is part of the Chases, the family that runs one of the departments of the Magistrates. Annabeth's father, Frederick, runs this department. It takes care of all petty crimes. Percy is the Chase's houseboy, a boy who serves the family with what they need. Annabeth is walking through town one day when she sees Percy steal some bread. She watches him get caught but Percy gets off with a warning. Annabeth walks by and when the merchant isn't looking she steals some bread and cheese. She goes after Percy to give him the food so he wouldn't go hungry. He takes the food and flees but becomes a wanted criminal since it is his second offence. Witnesses say they saw Percy take the food. Meanwhile, Annabeth is also stuck in an arranged marriage with the son of the other head of the Magistrates but is falling for the boy who stole the bread when she starts meeting up with him during the night. One day, Annabeth is sitting in on one of her father's court sessions and Percy is brought in, beaten bloody. Annabeth must decide if she comes forward and faces the punishment-which would be worse for her since she is a girl-or let Percy take the fall for something he didn't do, and face a worse punishment for his second crime. **All characters belong to Rick Riordan** **Mature for language and violence**
