Meet Scarlett Woods; a girl different from no other, yet as rare as they come. She's a nerd, yes. She stutters, she's awkward and she'd rather not have more than one person talk to her at a time. Yet, she's badass, she knows when to grab an opportunity and is in no way weak like most nerds are inevitably thought to be.

Enter Nathan Cullen; the new student, a nerd not unlike Scarlett and the owner of a smile that can send any girl's heart into overdrive. Nathan waltzes in Scarlett's life, changes everything for the better and mingles with her friends: Allie, Adrian, Evan, Emmett, Lauren and later on Ricky.

But amongst the drama with Jonathan, a past chapter from Scarlett's life she'd rather not acknowledge, the continued attempts to keep up a normal façade, the insistent tries to develop a taste for strawberry ice-cream once more and failed efforts to reconcile with her parents, will Scarlett and Nathan be able to make it?

Will they fall in love over long chats about Harry Potter and Twilight? Will Nathan's humorous outlook coupled with Scarlett's snarky jokes seal the deal? Will these two people, as alike as two peas in a pod come together only to crash and burn?

Will the good girl/bad boy cliché be broken?

Will they last long enough to make it?
