Europe is once again embroiled in a world war. With the Nazis in power, each day brings new horrors. When the Nazis invade Lithuania, Lina Grace finds her life turned upside down. With the constant threat of War and Death hovering over her, Lina Grace has no choice but to flee. Soon, she finds herself in America. But America, too is gearing up for war. She joins the Army Nurse Corps but finds herself being sent to the Airborne to train as a combat medic. With the fighting becoming more intense as the war drags on, Lina Grace soon learns that no one makes it out of war unscathed.
