Falling for a mortal is (Y/N)'s first mistake, who knew falling for a God of Thunder is the second one. Living with a daily doze of duty to protect Earthrealm, as a demi-god (Y/N) lived in the temple everybody knows who lives there. The gods who protect the people of Earthrealm. All her life, (Y/N) always hated her role. Being placed in the temple by the Elder Gods wasn't the major problem, having the irony of immortality is.

Long before, she was mortal. Who had lived in the Outworld with Erron Black, her former partner. But one day, a mysterious light came to struck her being when she was stargazing. Until this day, (Y/N) never knew what caused it. She ended up having godly powers held by her. That is, the ability to control plants. She wanted to know why she became the chosen one. The chosen one who wields an enormous power and immortality.

Being an immortal and a demi-god had forced her to move to Earthrealm and live in the Sky temple along with an air bender, and, a god of thunder. Her life couldn't possibly get any worse, could it?All Rights Reserved

About a hundred years later, Earthrealm continued to live in peace, while still dealing with villains in their own world. Despite all of this, the God of Thunder, Lord Raiden had a feeling that this wasn't the last time they'd seen Shao Kahn, so he continued to train warriors for the potential upcoming tournament. Two of those warriors were Liu Kang and Kung Lao, two shaolin monks from the Wu Shi Academy who were as close as brothers. But even the two of them weren't enough to ensure the safety of Earthrealm, they needed more warriors. Join Liu Kang and Kung Lao as they join the Hero Academy in Japan to try and seek the warriors they need to defend Earthrealm.

This is a reboot of the first stories I've written on Wattpad. I've noticed that they weren't the best of quality so here's a proper telling of the story. Raiden, the protector of Earthrealm, along with the Elder Gods stopped Shinnok. Locked him up in his own amulet. Others followed in Shinnok's footsteps, like Outworld's emperor Shao Kahn, who was obsessed with conquering realms. So the Elder Gods began the Mortal Kombat tournaments as a way to even the odds... give Earthrealm a chance. For generations, Shao Kahn followed the Elder Gods' rules. The war moved to the arena, where he sent his toughest fighters to challenge Raiden's greatest defenders in Mortal Kombat. The rules were clear, if Shao Kahn won ten tournaments in a row, he won. But if Earthrealm broke the streak, Kahn would have to start all over again. Outworld won nine tournaments. On the tenth, the monk Liu Kang defeated Shang Tsung and won the tournament, keeping Earthrealm safe. Shao Kahn however, is not going to let victory be taken from him.
