Nearly two decades have passed since Krista and her band of gladiators won their freedom, but the empire is far from peaceful.

The Colosseum still remains and with their escape scarring Rome's history, the emperor's hunger for power has never been greater.

Extinguishing all attempts at rebellion, it is only a matter of time before the enslaved people of Gallia take a stand against their tormentors.

Fearing another slave rebellion, the Emperor Trajan orders the legions of Rome to march on Gallia.

Born to two gladiator parents, Lazarus's dreams are filled with following in their footsteps and fighting upon the sands of the arena.

With his trusted friend by his side, Lazarus will make the journey to Rome only to find his future of glory thrown into turmoil.

The arrival of his parents in Rome has set off a chain of events that will test Lazarus's bravery and skills to the limit.

With a new young commander threatening his loved ones, Lazarus must choose between a life of glory and a life of freedom.

And with everything not being what it seems, can Lazarus make his parents proud or will he die trying?

COMPLETED "What the hell is happening to Arrow?" His form is disappearing in shimmering lights. Arrow is the top Gladiator at the Wasteland, which is an inescapable prison surrounded by miles upon miles of scorching sand and blazing sun. The Wasteland holds Wasteland battles where Gladiators fight to the death, then all of those killed are brought back to life to fight once more. Arrow wins every single one, but he's snapping from ten years of fighting. When two new Gladiators arrive at the Wasteland, and they're assigned to Arrow for a tour of the Wasteland, they start a chain of events that put Arrow's biggest secret at risk of being thrown into the open. NOTE: There are fight scenes with blood as Arrow, along with the other Gladiators, participate in the Wasteland battles. There are also other fights that occur during various parts of the story. If you are uncomfortable with this type of content, I might consider finding another book. This is my first Wattpad book, so there might be some errors. If you find yourself disliking parts of the book, I'd be grateful if you found a different book rather than complaining. Though if you have ideas or suggestions, please send them my way! I will be updating every Friday, but life happens, and something unexpected may come up that makes me unable to update. If this occurs, I will either update early on Saturday, or the following Friday depending on how much I have written or if I have access to Wattpad.

The Emperor's Daughter

22 parts Complete Mature

Aurelia hates the arena. She hates the gladiators, she hates the animal fights, the blood, the guts, the glory. She avoids the violence by staying away from the Colosseum until the day she decides to try and save a few lives from dying in the arena. It's there that she meets Caius. Caius loves the arena. As a gladiator he loves the cutthroat challenge of it, the comradeship of the men, the honor of fighting for his country. His desire is to fight as long as he can and when he has nothing else to offer, to go out in a blaze of glory under the open sky of the arena. It's there that he meets Aurelia. When Caius is assigned to be Aurelia's new guard, he's more than distraught about no longer being a gladiator. Aurelia isn't too fond of the idea either considering the giant of a man represents everything she dislikes about the gladiator fights. When Venus' wind grazes both of them and disdain turns to desire, both find arrangement rather to their benefit. A romance between a gladiator and an emperor's daughter is no match for marriage though, putting them both at risk when Venus pulls them together. Doomed from the start Caius and Aurelia will have to decide just how much they're willing to risk and just which door they're willing to walk through to find what they desire on the other side.
