James, the fiercest metal frontman, meets Kristen, the girl that will shatter all his defenses and submit his heart, inspiring the most beautiful love song.

I've always wondered about the mysterious girl behind Nothing Else Matters. There is not much information available, but Mike Wall in his Metallica biography: Enter Night, mentions Kristen Martinez as the girlfriend that James dated between the recording of And Justice For All and the Black Album (1987-1991), and to whom he says the song was written to, as the "only time James ever acknowledged publicly his feelings for her".

Listen to the music that inspires it: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6lDaHJXe82jQjh292Zas4a?si=m2E1v0DFTM2qN2_Ud4Dz2g&utm_source=copy-link&dl_branch=1 Just shuffle on it!

So this detailed fiction is what my dirty-romantic imagination came up to fill the story I so want to now.

But I must tell you, if you are looking for the average love story, this will be nothing of the sort!

Disclaimer: This story is completely fictional, contains detailed heterosexual sex scenes, foul language, and lots of sugar! If you enjoy this story, please let me know. Your appreciation is the only reward I get for working hard writing this. ;)

TW: this book may contain mentions of violence and of suicide. DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends. There's only one thing she must do: Keep an open mind, it brings open hearts and open eyes. -- DISCLAIMER #2 This fanfiction is inspired to Mind Over Matter by Pvris and their lyrics in general. All you read here is fiction. every reference to real events or people is purely coincidental. I do not own the songs featured in the book. Jemily x Reader Story Emily Prentiss and Jennifer Jareau have been dating for a year. After working together for years, one night after a difficult case finally brought the two women together. Now they live in an apartment together and try to make friends with the nice couple next door. The shy Y/N in particular caught the attention of the two FBI agents. They would like to know more about the Woman next door. Why is she always so quiet and almost seems scared? Why is it so rare to see her without her girlfriend? Why is she so secretive when it comes to her private life? Can they lure the shy woman out of her shell? And what will come of it, friendship or something more? And why does Emily have such a strange gut feeling about the girlfriend? I'm writing this story from the first person perspective. I use the pronouns she/her for Y/N, if you would like something different, let me know. English is not my first language, so please be gracious. This story covers typical case-based topics such as murder (not clearly described), domestic abuse, violence. Also mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm and suicide attempt/thoughts. Please don't read this story if it triggers you. If you want to know exactly what TW each chapter has, feel free to message me. There will be Smut, smut- chapters will be marked with a (*) in the title. I don't own any of the characters! Have fun and let me know what you think🫶
