Deep in a large jungle, a lamia named Sunset Shimmer in her cave crying after being banished out of her home town and to never return there. So she decided go on a trip to find a new home and love interest. Along the way however, her life changes when she hears some commotion and spotted two human girls protecting an injured male boy from a group of hunters. After saving them, Sunset has joined them as a protector while she helps them find a way out of the jungle to somewhere safe. What neither Sunset nor her little group know is the unknown predators lurking in the jungle territories.All Rights Reserved

However, her friends are supportive as always. When they meet with the other princesses, Celestia notices how tired Twilight and her friends look after their journey and sends all eight of them off to bed. Later that night, a cloaked unicorn sneaks into the castle and steals Twilight's crown. The next morning, Princess Celestia identifies the thief as Sunset Shimmer, her former student. The princesses explain that the mirror from which Sunset Shimmer escaped is a gateway to an alternate world and task Twilight with going into this other world to retrieve her crown. Little does she know, she will encounter her friends once again. What adventures await Twilight in this alternate world?
