Virgil is a shut in. He's gone 10 years without speaking to the people from his past, including his entire family. The reason? He can see when people are going to die. Every time he looks at someone, he knows their name, their cause of death, and the day they are meant to die. He fled from home at 18, headed for the anonymity of New York City and has been hiding away ever since.

That is, until someone from his past catches up with him.

Charlie is a New York city cop. He's been searching for Virgil ever since his younger sister/ Virgil's ex girlfriend spilled Virgil's secret before she died. Despite his connections, even Charlie hasn't been able to find Virgil, until now. He locates and confronts Virgil with his knowledge and, despite the grudge he's held all these years, an offer.
