The story takes place in a post-Pacifist timeline in the original universe of Undertale, where half of Sans' soul is stolen by a corrupted alternate version of himself known as Cross, who has his Chara inside his body. With the help of Ink -the guardian of the AUs- Sans will travel through the Alternate Universes to recover his soul while he discovers the origin of Cross and the imminent danger that will put the Multiverse at risk: The Overwrite button.
