With the death of Steve fresh in her mind, she tries desperately to piece her life back together, but, there's a few problems. Her parents are still trying to keep the secret of her adoption from her, every member of S.H.I.E.L.D. seems to hate her, oh and the fact that she has become a professional when it comes to pushing people away. A past ex of her's, Ian Walker, comes to help her remember who she is. Will Ian succeed? Or will her attitude and emotions push him away? Will Jet drag him into her crazy life and force him on an adventure that he will never forget? Will her true past and parents finally become one with the immediate now?
