 These teenagers  balancing in between the limbo of still being considered a "kid" by their parents, but have to deal with societal pressure of becoming adults. 
 
Avalon Naylor, Henry Maldonado, Dharani Fayzi, Keoni Claymore, all have vastly different cultures, religions and backgrounds, but have one thing in common: their love for each other and also the promise to never be like their parents. 
 
Within these 10 chapters, these characters experience heartbreak, loss, love, commitment and the true meaning of becoming each other's family, not by blood, but by heart.

This story is about teenage love and the problems that you can encounter in high school. Mikayla and Daniel, head to-head, all the time. However, who will win overall?
