Around the age you develop your quirk is also when you can start talking to your soulmate. Super simple all you have to do is write on your skin and it will appear on your soulmate for them to respond.

So when Midoriya never got his quirk and never heard from his soulmate despite the many messages he left it was Bakugou who suggested he may not have a soulmate either. It was rare but it happened so what were the chances Midoriya could be so unlucky?

Life is hard for the quirkless boy often bullied and mocked for being without a soulmate and quirk. So what happens when Midoriya is pushed a bit too far?
