Izuku has been told his whole life that he isn't good enough, that he's powerless and can't help anyone even if he really tried. His best friend pushed him to the ground and ignored him, often calling him degrading names.

The greenette often asked himself why he wasn't good enough for people, he wanted to help other but without a quirk he was powerless. So he turned to vigilantism, knowing that he couldn't be a hero.
