Kiara has a hard time loving. Her grandma says its because she doesn't love herself. But when she does love, it is with her whole heart and everything in her, the only problem with that is not everything in her is good or even whole.

Selfish and prone to emotions such as jealousy, envy, and insecurity most of her relationships thus far in her life have been toxic. That doesn't change when she gets into a relationship with a boy she never thought she would give the time of day too, Nolan Cullem. A kind but complicated boy with a dark past and an overwhelming need to belong, be needed, and be loved unconditionally, Nolan has his own set of problems all on his own.

These two begin their relationship on uneven and muddy ground. A marked thing already bruised and rotting. It makes perfect sense for a relationship such as there's to be doomed to suffer strife and drama. These two character ultimately change one another, but not all change is good.
