How else would the sun rise and set without the help of the sun gods? How would the crops prosper and the planet see? The answer is simple: the sun god is the bringer of light and warmth. However, we cannot just assume the god will always bring up the sun. The story from our ancestors begins like this: There was a time, long ago, where there were no sun sacrifices. The gods and the people were at peace with one another. The children played and the village worked together to help each other. But one day, Inti, the sun god, didn't rise. The town was in chaos. No one could see, the crops withered, and the village grew cold. Our Inca, or king, came up with a solution. We would sacrifice some of our young women to Inti and hope the sun would rise again. After the sacrificial ceremony, the village waited. The next day, the sun had risen and all was good. Since that day, a sacrifice has been made every night to please the sun god. Zara was a wonderful girl. She was beautiful, clever, and everything good in a person. However, she was a soon-to-be sacrifice to Inti. Even worse: her fate was chosen just days after her birth. As most would think, she should be upset with how cruelly she was to die. But she was not. It is an honor to be given up to Inti for the good of the people. That is, until she meets Khuno. He was just an ordinary boy who did as he was told. But what happens when a girl who has no choices meets a boy who does?

"We don't have a Caretaker. We have a Creationeer. And we love her." ~Humanity. We think we're from here, but are we really? What happened to us before then, and who was involved? Kit - a young B-Tier Creationeer - didn't want this job. She's not trained to be an Intelligent Species Caretaker, and yet she's forced to care for the last remnants of a damaged and traumatized humanity by an old, malicious evil. After carrying us around in a modified to-go habitat bubble for 18K years, Kit wants a vacation, but is hesitant to leave us alone on our new planet she built; Earth. She confides in Pan - an A-Tier Caretaker and Kit's best friend and roommate. She reveals the full story of how she came to be in possession of us and why she can't hand us over to a licensed Caretaker. Pan reveals the tragic truth of the first 10 years of our existence before Kit found us. The new knowledge Ignites a fire in both. So the two young Ethereals come up with another plan that involves the three grad school roommates, Pan, Sid, and Kit, taking us on a long road trip to the Andromeda galaxy for some good old fashioned revenge- justice. And also Screw Jim. (warning: Contains strong language.) Please comment and vote. :) I'd really appreciate it. ^_^ (This idea was born from the second I saw a photo of Earth from orbit showing the glow of our atmosphere and thought, "Haha! We live on a bubble planet." :) ) NOTE: They're not gods. This is not theology. They don't have all the answers, they're not all powerful, and they can't do everything. They're closest equivalent in a fandom would be like lesser cousins to the Q. In this AU, Humanity knows about Kit. They don't deify her. To them, Kit's presence is normal, tangible, and real. She's always been there.

How she reached from Kaliyug to Dwapar yug and why? Many more things are running through her mind and all she got from the mortal disguise of Lord Narayan, Krishna is, "Tum etihas ka hissa nahi balki etihas rachne aayi ho. Apni vaggya ka racaita tum khud ho. " (You're not part of the history. Rather you have come to create the history. You're the writer of your own destiny.) *********** Familiar with the Mahabharat? Don't worry if you're not. I've added a short description of the original Mahabharat plot in the book for those. This story will follow the original mahabharat storyline but in a vastly different way with a lot of twists and events in my style. 😉 I'm aware Mahabharat holds religious sentiments for some and I do not INTEND to offend anyone. This is for entertainment purpose only. So don't get serious or offended please. And I apologise in advance if you feel hurt by any content of the book.
