(Set in the mindset that there were 7 avengers who saved NY in 2012) 

Daisy Smith was legally declared dead 14 months ago after it was determined she'd lost her battle with H.Y.D.R.A. That is, until she resurfaces by accident. Thinking she's been saved, she attempts to share her newfound information with the other avengers. Only, she's not quite out of the woods yet... 

EXTRACT:
It wasn't the grating sound of metal on metal that I heard first, it wasn't even the scuffing noise that crept closer towards me. The first thing that burned through my mind was the seering ringing in both of my eardrums. It took me a moment to realise that I couldn't see anything but darkness and flashes of bright, white light as my vision began to creep back in. It took every effort in my being to regain control of my vision. Slowly squinting and trying again and again, I managed to open my eyes and focused in on the large dark silhouette in the centre of the room. It was at this point that I managed to pull together my surroundings... I was 100% certain that I had absolutely no idea where I was. I attempted to push myself off of the ground before realising that my arms were chained. My left arm was held out to my side, cuffed in a thick metal bracelet, connected to a large metal chain that held my arm stretched out at my side. I slowly rolled my head in the other direction, forcing myself to move through the ringing in my ears and the throbbing in my head, to see that my other wrist met the same fate. Wincing, I allowed myself to collect my breath and allow the pain to ease. I hadn't even noticed the low, cackling laugh that was echoing through the room. I lifted my head and squinted just enough to make out the outline of features on the man's face. I didn't say anything. I wasn't prepared to give this maniac the satisfaction of seeing my fear or asking obvious, nervous questions. So instead, I waited for him to make the first move. Each and every time I have turned him down, but eventually he comes back and proposes the same thing. "No, I'm here to see if you'd like some girl scout cookies. He explains, but he knows that isn't what I mean. We stare at each other for a moment before he sighs again. "Your history only makes you more of an impressive subject." He continues and I groan. "The point is that you would help put an end to what happened to you, on a global scale." He says. "Think about it, Shifter." Nick drops a folder on the concrete and starts to walk back to the exit of the roof. I flip through the folder lazily, barely skimming the papers, but I know all of the names already.
