We were young, we gave it a go on a few occasions but we were so young it was never going to last. It was like the world was always against us, never giving us a real shot at true love. 22 years on from the moment we met and I still think of you every single day. Is that normal? We moved in different directions, our lives took us down separate paths and eventually so far away from one another that I can't find you. Both now married with children but I can't shake you and I still wonder whether you think of me too? Do you? I don't mean to do the things I do, but I can't stop myself. We all had things that happened to us which we vowed never to talk about. Secrets we kept. The lies we said. The heartaches that still hurts at night and the forbidden sex we had with other people. Above all, that one person who didn't fit in the fabulous life we lived. High school was trash. All the threats and fights which occurred made us hate the word 'School' Hoping college would be a good start for us, we held our heads up high like saints.
