Book 3 of "Indifference"
Beauty? Check.
Talents? Check.
Kindness? Check.
Lies? Check. Check. Check!
She never liked the concept of lying. She couldn't understand its value. It only hides the pain and disappointment for a moment until the truth comes knocking at your door and slaps you in the face hard in a blink of an eye. Lies only hurt the people you care for. It's selfish no matter how you look at it. Lying is like burying a mine bomb under the soil and waiting for the time someone steps on it and it blows. Lying brings no good. At all. To anyone.
That's what Soojin, a third year student at the College of the Utmost BellΓ s Exclusive, believes. She was pretty, an excellent singer, and a great dancer. A trustworthy friend anyone could ask for, and the best cook-- at least inside the dorm she's sharing with five other girls.
And most of all, she's not a liar. She just lies. There's a difference, right? Well, maybe.
You see, lying to make yourself look good in the eye of other people, or for your own gain, that's what you call a liar. BUT, lying in order to protect someone you love, that's . . . still a liar.
Alright, nevermind. All she knows is that if it's the only way to keep someone she values close to her, then she's willing to lie and be called a liar. It's not right, but that's all she could do.
Trapped in a maze she created with all the deceptions and cover-ups, just how far can she go?
