Long ago when wars were waged and destruction seemed to take over the Shinobi world, a village laid in the mountains. This village was mostly heard of from rumors and those who could escape after being captured.
The rumors said of people with cat like features and their allies that could use there chakra to burn things, their use over the substance allowed them to burn things in their hold or with a mere glare. This village was hunted and burned down, killing any and all who escaped. Some were taken in as human experiments.
The terrible atrocity was named the flares burning. It was turned into a folktale to warn children that they shouldn't follow their predecessors and destroy those with peculiar differences. Of course that stop them from continuing these cruel acts
Now let us follow the story of a young girl who can set things on fire with just her hands. a girl with cat like features. A girl whose bloodline has humans in it but carries the genes for such a person to be born. A girl who was abandoned by her mother when she got caught."
