He watched the Hashira's retire one by one, and new ones stand in front to take up their legacy. Including himself. And his role as the new Water Hashira came with far greater responsibilities, and he was determined to carry them all like the previous leaders did. But as he watched himself fall for the Flower Hashira, it certainly became a challenge.
