"Why are you still here," his voice broke down the silence that spread around the room as soon as the signal went out again.

"We don't have the luxury to hold grudges on each other. Besides," she said turning to him, "I know I'm a burden."

A new girl moved to live in a quiet area of a dingy but warm space of Green Room Apartment to stay closer to her college.

Apart from having a quite busy life, Y/N was pretty much happy. She found happiness from little things in life - annoying a resident wearing specs was one of them.

Having a teensy bit of a crush on him was not exactly a lie. But she had other priorities to focus on, ofcourse.

Well atleast she had. With a turn of events, and monsters crawling in and out of the building, her daily life took a halt in its steps.

She heard in stories that traumatic events often brought two people together. And that felt true until the only person she felt safe around showed a different side.
