In this world, humanity was being threatened by a mysterious Alien race of creatures known only as the "Noise", beings of unknown origins that manifest in the world to bring death to all humans. The world was left defenseless and powerless against these creatures, and although a special form of technology known as the "Symphogear" had the means to fight off these creatures, only a select few had the potential to wield them.

However, one day, the world received another miracle in the form of a "special" human from a place beyond its own. A young man who once fought for humanity, the wielder of a unimaginable power capable of breaking all the laws of logic on his own -- that only could see in fairy tales, legends, and myths. On that day forward, the young boy shall fight the Noise in the name of humanity, even if it means to hold and bear every kind of pain and suffering of the world.
