Charles, who is a senior, soon reunites with his friends, all of them belonging to the school's boys club called The Crimson Cadets. Whilst Magali struggles to adapt to her new environment, Charles is offered a seat at the club's council after a member decides to leave. Charles is not so keen on becoming a council member, although he feels obliged because of his legacy status in the club, his grandfather having been a member and council before him. Never really accepting the offer Charles is still made council and groomed to marry two fellow legacy members sister named Rebecca, in the hopes of remaining the legacy bloodline pure. Magali, who has grown a custom to the school's ways, learns about Charles' forced engagement and attempts to warn him about the ceremony being incomplete, that if he goes through with it again he might risk his life. Charles and Magali can no longer be seen together due to his commitments to the club, which makes it difficult for Magali to warn him.
