Before you read this, you might want to know that this is not the first book, this is the second. The first one is called the Lightning Prince and the Sword of Darkness. So go read that book if you want to read this. He finds out Roël has his own seperate plan. A plan which he told no one about, a plan which he will use to operate alone. What will happen? Will Daniel be able to defeat them, will Roël come out on top? Read to find out...
