My Love

I looked into the girl's eyes, my face emotionless.

"Please don't do this-" She begged for her life.

"Don't make this harder on yourself, hun. Just tell me what I want to know." I gave her a sickly sweet grin.

The girl visibly shook, tears in her eyes. "I don't know anything! If I knew where he was I would've told you already!" She cried, her golden brown hair falling over her face.

I held my gun out, ready to pull the trigger but there was something about this girl that seemed to make me hesitate. Taking notice of her tears, an unfamiliar emotion washing over me, making me hesitate before I pulled the trigger.
