When Damon and Stefan open the tomb underneath the abandoned church looking for Katherine, they never expected to see their sister, Aurora Salvatore. The brothers, once turned into vampires mourned there dead sister not knowing she was taken in the tomb with the other vampires, but she wasn't a vampire.
