Since marrying Loki, the God of Mischief, McKenna Carlin Laufeyson has long since become accustomed to her new life as wife, mother, and princess of Asgard. But now, since the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., she's found herself in an even newer, stranger role--one of Phil Coulson's agents in search of Grant Ward, the man responsible for almost killing her. Loki isn't exactly thrilled with this turn, but if nothing else, it means he can keep an even closer eye on her.
But Grant Ward isn't finished with the Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D or Loki and McKenna. He has his sights set on their son, Selig, who has all of his father's gifts. If he can find a way to make the boy an weapon of H.Y.D.R.A, the world wouldn't stand a chance.
However, he underestimates the power of a furious god and a protective mother...
