Throughout the day's events, Paul & Aaron come to realize an essential tenet of a good life- friendship. The youth of sixteen years pull together the wisdom of their Judeo-Christian upbringings with the gifts of knowledge through ancient & modern literature and the cathartic relief of contemporary music to deal with the daily trials and tribulations of teenage life. Echos cause a ripple effect when other people hear them, just like words and rumours do. Sometimes they're hard to ignore, and one can be tempted to say something back, to let someone else hear their echo, but, it's not always the right thing to do. Even echos have consequences. Those seemingly innocent shouts of triumph can be mistaken for something much, much darker. Just ask Rune Knight, he knows all about the repercussions of echos.
