Surrounded by the monotony of her daily life, Narah longed for something interesting to happen on her tiny island, in her tiny village. But she gets more than she bargains for when she rescues a boy from the aqueducts suffering from amnesia. 
Kidnapping gone wrong, she and her brother as well as the new stranger have no choice but to throw their lots in with a set of princes and a questionably sane captain. When the sun threatens to destroy their atmosphere, Narah realizes she should have set parameters for her wish.
