Or so Childe vehemently tried to convince himself as his trembling hands wouldn't let go off the cor lapis hair tie tightly gripped in them.

Leaning over the frozen railing of the Fatui ship taking him back home to Snezhnaya, the wind wouldn't stop whipping his fringe into his eyes as if trying to tell him something.

What a pity.

Dropping that stupid hair accessory into the deep nothingness of the ocean to forget had sounded like such an easy and great idea.

Meanwhile Zhongli worked himself into collapsing out of exhaustion, stubbornly ignoring the recovery time after the loss of his gnosis in his futile attempt to not loose yet another important person in his own unique but rather stupid way.
