Order 66 has been initiated...And yet, the Bad Batch, besides Crosshair, are excluded from the ruthless act. When they return to Kamino, they learn that the Republic is now the Galactic Empire and also learn of a young girl named Omega. 

Also excluded is Fern, the one and only female, defectively-enhanced clone whose genetic origin is unknown (or so Fern believes). She has served solo throughout the Clone Wars ever since her failed mission with Hunter, just prior of Clone Force 99's formation. Specializing in reconnaissance, Fern has a natural intuition of her surroundings, is strong-willed, master of mechanics, and an excellent martial artist. She is an independent, master of stealth, never needing any assistance for any challenge she's faced. 

Until now...

The Bad Batch and Fern are forced to work together, flee from their home, and protect Omega. Now on the run, they search for their new purpose.

And how would Aurora feel once she is finally forced to face her feelings? Does she embrace it or does she do what she does best and runaway? During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech.
