Varian (Tangled x OC) *Could easily also be read as a x reader story. Before I tell this story, I might as well preface by saying it's likely that you're more familiar with my older sister, Rapunzel. I'm sure you know the story, princess of Corona, and her incredibly long magical hair with legendary healing powers, stolen away from her family by the villainous mother Gothel and kept locked in a tower far from home. All of Corona for many years grieved over Rapunzel's abduction, and as far as the kingdom knew, the only heir to the throne was gone forever, never to return, leaving no one to proceed their rulers. But little did Corona know, just about four and a half years later I was born. I'm Sabrine, by the way.

This story takes place after the whole Frozen 2 thing happened. Anna and Kristoff's wedding is coming up, and there's lots of planning to do. The invitation lists are about to go out, when Anna finds out she has a cousin she didn't know about. She decides it would be the perfect time to meet her, so she sends out an invitation to her. Rapunzel and Eugene are living happily ever after in their pleasant kingdom. Rapunzel is aloud to explore every day with Eugene, whilst still managing to do her castle duties. When she gets an invitation to a wedding from a lost cousin of hers, she doesn't know what to say or expect. Join Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Rapunzel, and Eugene and how they handle meeting each other for the very first time. I'm also going to pretend "Before Happily Ever After, the series" from Tangled didn't happen either. All of these characters are owned by Disney.

Plot; On one morning, the thief named Flynn Rider (Eugene Fitzherbert) stole the crown from Corona. The alchemist named Varian captured the thief by his trap experiment. They are going on the adventure to the tower. Varian believes the lost princess was hidden away by someone. Trouble got in their way. Will they ever find the lost princess' crown again? The fate of the kingdom weighs heavily on Rapunzel's shoulders and Varian's past weighs heavily on his. Both have to face their inner demons and mistakes in order to save everyone from a threat that's much bigger than Corona. Aka my dream of a season 4 (but I don't work for Disney so I can be a little darker *insert manical laughter*) Rapunzel and Varian dual POV (Also, I do hope to draw their character designs eventually :)

This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way.
