"No! Don't you understand? He is not the guy for you. He is bad for you. He is like a drug. Like a suicide!" "Then I guess I just got myself into a Rock n' Roll Suicide."

London, 1973-1974
Amelie May, or as she is known, Amy is a rebel. She goes against stereotypes and ideals. She is way ahead of her era someone could say. She hangs out with her best friends at a warn-out old vinyl-book store, joking, listening to music, writing an excessive amount of homework, smoking, and complementing their life decisions.

Roger Taylor, is... Well, Roger Taylor is Roger Taylor. He is funny and energetic. He spends his days with his best friends and bandmates, and his nights with girls he meets at bars and pubs.

And this is a fanfic where Roger Taylor can absolutely NOT fall for his bandmate's younger sister.

But everything goes a bit downward when Amy realizes that Roger Taylor is not who he wants the others to believe he is and Roger realizes that Amy is the most unique girl he has ever met.

A Fanfic with a lot of sarcasm, music, and an extremely big dose of David Bowie, because after all, it is a Rock 'n Roll suicide.

Enjoy darlings.:^)

Happiness....A Different Kind of Maylor Love Story by Beatlegirl1968
62 parts Complete Mature
Brian May led a simple but somewhat lonely life. He thought it was enough to own a record store and to dabble in his side interests. Photography, star gazing and writing songs and being with his close friends. His success in the dating world had hit an all time low and he had thrown in the towel. Little did he know his life was about to get turned upside down. When a famous music group is in town for some shows he has an unlikely encounter that not only shifts his future but literally and figuratively rocks his world. Roger Taylor is a bored and burned out rock star looking for something more meaningful in his life than one night stands both on the stage and in his bed. He meets someone who makes him question his future and his true desires. Will Roger risk everything to have something deeper than a top 40 single? Will Roger find what has truly evaded him for ages? Happiness.... This is a side trip from the traditional format for Maylor and takes place in an alternate universe away from Queen. I have borrowed some things from their real lives to enhance the story and give it some familiarity. I have not placed a time stamp on this story as my world contains music from the 70s, 80s and beyond. MTV exists in the way that it did in the 1980s. Each chapter title will be a song and will be accompanied by a video of that track to listen to before or during reading. I hope you like my fresh take on our favorite couple! There is mature content so reader beware!

THISIS THE OLD, ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE STORY! I left it up because the new version has significant differences, and I know I always hate it when I liked the old version of a story better and it gets taken down, but I still highly recommend reading the new one. Without further ado... __________________________ "Confidence? I've struggled with confidence my entire life. In fact, to this day, I still struggle, so I fake it. Faking confidence is a lot easier than most believe. Stand up straight, hold your head high, roll your shoulders back, look others in the eye, and stop apologising. Soon, your confidence isn't fake anymore." *** Davy and Jamie Myers were sisters. Just like any other pair of siblings, they had their disagreements and fought every once in a while. However, they were also each other's best friends. They never went a day withough hanging out. When an accident takes Jamie's life a week before granduation, Davy finds herself in a place no one ever wants to be. Her depression and anxiety start to consume her until she realizes the only way to keep her mind busy was to sing. So she started singing her sister's favorite music. *** Scott Jacobs always had a hard time making friends. He'd never been overly fond of the human race, so as soon as he graduated college, he moved out to the middle of nowhere to start a new life. A couple months after moving, he met his neighbor, Davy Myers. For the first time in his life, he had a real friend. Will their friendship crumble when she reveals the skeletons in her closet, or will it make Scott fall even more in love with her?
