Rhon Gates is a boy with lower than average skills who lives in a family of prodigies. Neglected and hated by his family, Rhon decides to commit suicide on the 5th year anniversary of his father's departure to Germany by jumping off his dad's former company's building.

When he finds himself in a room with three doors- one being locked- he goes through the one that leads him to being reincarnated as a villain in an otome game, Randall Howell.

With the original's desire to die and his own unwillingness to live another shitty life, Rhon attempts to die through any way he can; overdose, poison, dangerous plants, jumping from the roof, hanging, stabbing, drowning, you name it.

However, he can't die until it's the original's time to die in the game.

Defeated, he decides to avoid the hero at all cost. Until he saves the hero from a difficult situation.

Who will Randall end up with?

Ever since he could remember... Choi Do-Woon thought of himself as nothing more than a human doll. Intelligent, yet emotionless, he wanders through the empty world filled with misery, unable to experience the subtle emotions that make people feel so humane. Seen as a monster by his own parents, he believed that his life carried no meaning... until the birth of his two younger siblings. Little by little... he learns what it means to feel happy, to feel sad, and to feel regretful as he stands alongside them. He vows to always be there for them as they gave his existence a new meaning, even if it meant lying about who he really was. But because of an incurable illness, he dies in the hospital bed with only his younger brother at his side, filled with countless regrets. Following the death of Choi Do-Woon, he is soon transferred into the world of the once popular romance novel that he last read before his death: Ways of the Mystic. He opens his eyes as he now resides in the body of the newborn Lysander Blakesty, one of the three leading villains. In the novel, Lysander was a ruthless villain who brought death and misery to the people of the empire. He fought continuously with the prince, Augustus Rutherford-the main protagonist of the novel-as he tried to bring back his sister, Seraphina Blakesty. Bringing each other to the brink of death, until finally, the prince stabs Lysander through the heart. But with his knowledge of the past, Choi Do-Woon is set to change the fate of Lysander-and those he comes to care about in this new world-while slowly gaining the opportunity to learn and experience new emotions. But who knew the choices he would make would spark a romance between him and the prince...?! *This is my own original work. After getting away from his cruel father's tyranny, Randall has to learn how to live again, and accept the person he was meant to be - with a little help of a local bartender... ***** An empty shell is all what is left of twenty-five-year-old Randall now. After his homophobic father found out he was gay, he had to learn to act someone else in order to survive through the years of abuse and humiliation. Now he has forgotten the person he once was. He refuses to remember the person he was supposed to be. Emotionally detached, and unable to create any kind of relationships, Randall's lonely days repeat themselves in the same destructive pattern: go to work, work out, watch TV, and drink, with no way out of that dark, miserable corner he has built for himself. When a gay bar opens doors in his neighborhood, the fragile balance he has created with himself is in danger of being destroyed when his true self is trying to break free. And to make things worse, there is a new guy at his gym. A kind guy who has a nice voice and loves talking people's ears off. A guy who can see his suffering and is willing to do whatever it takes to help him. A guy who is making Randall feel once again.
