After the Blade of Mamora incident, Keith Kogane known as the red Paladin secret was revealed. When the Paladins of Voltron learned the secret, all of them and the Altean Princess immediately turned onto him. 

Voltron had defeated Zarkon by ending his reign of terror and help to restore the universe. Long after the downfall of the galra king, Keith knew that it was time to pack up and leave knowing they never cared nor notice him gone.

Keith ended up returning back to earth where he soon meets the infamous heroes Justice Leagues and their young protégé Young Justice, that his life is about to change for the better and hope to start over on earth.
