Lexington Robinson has been blacking out for as long as she can remember. Ever since she suffered a head injury as a child, there are pieces of her mind that don't seem to be completely intact, despite her best efforts. As a series of gruesome murders begin to rattle the people of Dallas and her alibi begins to disappear, she has reason to believe she could be responsible. After turning herself in, she believes it should be case closed. However, Agent Nolan Foster has a different idea. He thinks someone else is putting her in the middle of the crimes to frame her, and it's up to them to figure out who it is to prove her innocence. He may be a rookie and may have very few people on his side, but he's determined to follow his instincts on this one, come what may.

"Seventeen year old Tobias Aspen was arrested a week after the remains of fifteen year old Kayla Mammoliti and Seventeen year old Maria Jensen of Manchester Central High School were discovered in a ditch-" She watched silently as his image flickered across the television. The dim lights flashed across her face in a mirage of colors, brightening the dark room with a soft glow. Ariel Campbell sat frozen in her spot, unable to comprehend the reality of her life now. She sunk her nails into her skin as his mugshot flickered across her dark dilated irises. Blood began to pool beneath her sharp fingernails but she hadn't reacted to the pain seizing her arm. She was over having Tobias labeled as the monster when the real monsters slept beside them at night. Ariel Campbell had one goal in mind: She was going to prove that the psycho was innocent. No matter what it took. No matter who she hurt.
